76th Police Graduation
Pastor Al Perez and Amy Griffin attended the 76th Police Graduation last Friday.
PI 515
Congratulations to Nancy Mwirotsi, founder of PI 515! United Way featured the story of Bonito, a Tanzanian refugee that arrived at the age of 9 and thanks to PI 515. His now a freshman at Iowa State University. He is pursuing Computer Science degree with a full scholarship.

Summer Bible Camp
Summer Bible Camp is fast approaching and Zion is still in need of the bug spray and towels for the students who will be attending. Donations can be placed in the church office labeled "Summer Camp." Thank you for your generosity and to all those who have already given to this ministry!

Forgiven in Concert
Forgiven, a mixed gospel music duo from Lawrenceburg, Indiana, will be in concert at Grand View Lutheran Churh (2930 E. 13th St.) in Des Moines on Sunday, April 29th at 3:00P.M. This husband and wife team was involved with the music ministries of the Gaithers and the Weatherfords before starting their own group in 1988.
A freewill offering will be taken, and light refreshments will be served. This is part of the La Vern and Evelyn Larson Concert Series.
